Job Summary
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a strong interest or background in pediatric care to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent preventive and acute care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients, including newborns through adolescents
- Conduct well-child visits, physical exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care
- Follow all clinical guidelines, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Current DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
